Pay on Demand is a standard part of the Affinity Payroll offering, and it can be turned on and off and configured as per each customer’s needs. It is accessed directly by any employee that it has been activated for, whenever they need it. There are no fees beyond banking fees, typically less than $5 for a transaction.
When Pay on Demand is “demanded” Affinity will pay that from our own bank account, then reclaim that sum and deduct it from that employees pay in the next pay cycle. It’s not a loan, there is no impact to anybody’s credit rating, there are no interest payments – we are simply allowing people to access cash they have already earned, minus their deductions. We know what those deductions are because we’re running a real-time and event-driven payroll solution, so we can provide that kind of functionality.
