The Affinity platform

One payroll platform. Making work life easy for everyone.

Core payroll, workforce management, self-service, reporting and integrations on one data model, built for AU and NZ complexity.

One platform we built. Not five we bought.

Plenty of suites call themselves one platform. Underneath, they're products acquired over time, sharing a login screen and a sync schedule. Affinity is one codebase, built and maintained by the team you'll deal with, and one employee record every module reads and writes.

One data model

Approving leave in self-service is the same action as updating the payroll record.

One compliance update

An Award change, an STP2 update or Payday Super is interpreted once and applied everywhere.

Nothing white-labelled

Every module is built and supported by Affinity in AU/NZ. No resold engines, no third-party module on someone else's roadmap. Your existing HRIS and finance tools still connect through integrations.

For payroll teams

Stop the race against time. Start feeling in control.

Affinity automates the complex rules and shows you variances before you finalise, so every employee is paid correctly, on time, without the late nights.

For HR leaders

Focus on your people, not the paperwork.

Onboarding, leave, documents and pay queries run through one system, so your team stops juggling data and gets back to culture and people.

Which parts of the platform carry the load depends on the rules your sector actually runs.

Frequently asked questions

Is Affinity one platform, or separate products bundled together?

One platform. Core payroll, workforce management, self-service, reporting and integrations all read and write to the same data model – there is no separate database per module and no overnight sync job holding them together. That is different from HCM suites assembled from acquired products, where each module still runs on its own underlying system.

Do we have to implement every module, or can we start with core payroll and add more later?

You can start with core payroll and add modules – workforce management, self-service, remuneration, pay on demand – as your organisation needs them. Because everything shares one data model, adding a module later does not mean a second implementation or a new integration to maintain; it switches on a capability the platform already had.

How does a Modern Award or Holidays Act change get applied across the whole platform?

Once. Award interpretation, leave accrual and compliance reporting all run from the same interpreted rules, so a change – a SCHADS Award increase, an STP2 update, a Holidays Act clarification – is applied in one place and takes effect everywhere it matters on the same date, rather than being configured separately in payroll, then checked again in rostering.

Which delivery model should we choose – SaaS, Supported, or Fully Managed?

That depends on your team's payroll expertise and how much ownership you want day to day, not on which one has more features – the platform underneath is identical. Teams with experienced in-house payroll staff typically run SaaS themselves; lean teams or those managing complex awards more often choose Supported or Fully Managed.

Will the platform integrate with our existing HRIS, finance system or time and attendance tool?

Yes. Affinity is deliberately best-of-breed rather than a closed suite – it integrates with HR platforms including Workday, SuccessFactors, ELMO, HiBob and Cornerstone, connects to finance systems via configurable GL export, and takes time data from your existing rostering or clock system via API or file where you would rather not run that module inside Affinity.

How is data kept secure and compliant across every module?

The same security posture applies platform-wide, not module by module: Affinity is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified, independently audited by InterCert, and hosted with strict data residency in Australia and New Zealand. Because there is one data model, access control and audit logging cover every module consistently, rather than needing to be configured separately per acquired product.
